Dr Ronelle Hutchison has been a member of Vision Australia’s Client Services Committee since February 2025 and joined the Vision Australia Board in March 2026.
Ronelle has over two decades of experience in health and human services public policy and government relations. She is a non-Executive Director of the Association for Children with a Disability, and an independent consumer member of the Consumer Advisory Committee of the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA), the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Optometry Board Registrations and Notifications Committee and the Australian Government’s MBS Review Advisory Group.
Ronelle’s family have been clients of Vision Australia services since her youngest child was an infant.
Ronelle holds a Bachelor of Arts (Monash University), a PhD in Sociology (Monash University), and a Masters degree in Public Health (University of Melbourne). Ronelle is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
